Scandinavia's largest architecture festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the theme 'Life Form' as focal point.
From 1 - 11 June, Copenhagen Architecture Festival marks its 10th birthday and Copenhagen as the World Capital of Architecture with a critical, loving and climate-friendly festival program that will embrace a wide range of city walks, seminars, exhibitions, talks, film screenings, performances, and more.
This year, the festival is in a summer mood and is scheduled in between the opening of the Venice Biennale, where festival director Josephine Michau curates the Danish Pavilion, and the UIA World Congress 2023.
In total, the festival will extend over 11 days with over 100 events that revolve around the economic, cultural and climatic contexts that characterise the city and its architecture. We explore spaces for forms of life across species and identities, with an increased focus on the Meatpacking District and the Railway District.
