Interaction Latin America 2018 (ILA18), Rio de Janeiro

Interaction Latin America 2018 (ILA18) is the largest global event of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA), with an audience of 1,500 participants in its 2017 edition (ISA17, Florianópolis).

ILA18 will expand its previous limits of being a South American congress to cover all of Latin America. Thus, ILA18 proposes as a general theme the expansion of the boundaries of the field of Interaction Design.

We’ll be accepting papers focused on Interaction Design and related topics of interest in two different formats: academic papers and market cases. With this, we aim to provide space for professionals as well as teachers, researchers, and students in the academic community to participate.

We also invite the entire Latin American Interaction Design community to participate in the paper selection process. All submissions will be evaluated by an Executive Committee, composed of renowned academics and professionals and by volunteer reviewers selected by the Executive Committee. With this, we expect to increase community participation and boost both volume and diversity of reviews for ILA18.
