Fostering Worldwide International Collaborations, Online Event

21 May 2021
3:00pm - 5:00pm BST

The sixth Town Hall event is Fostering Worldwide International Collaborations, hosted by DRS International Advisory Council member Juan Giusepe Montalván.

This Town Hall Meeting is an open invitation for everyone interested in revisiting concepts we may generally take for granted in relation to the Globe and the idea of an international collaboration. In this Meeting we will explore new ideas for enabling a reframing of what it means to 'collaborate' from different vantage points, and will have the opportunity to ask light-shedding questions such as: what is it that we expect from an international collaboration?, what are our deal breakers for it?, how do we decide with who we wish to collaborate?, what role is virtuality playing in all this?, what new opportunities are emerging?

Additionally, we will identify and discuss which are those challenges and limitations that generally hinder international partnership, and finally, we will end by discussing collective initiatives through which the DRS as a community could become a ‘common ground' that fosters and embodies worldwide international collaborations.
