What is Mighty?
Mighty is an online platform for community building. Its main features include member profiles and networking, the creation of different community spaces, event hosting and content sharing. You can read more about Mighty here.
How to Migrate your DRS Membership
You should have received an email with a link to migrate your membership. This link is valid for one month. You will have a free trail that corresponds to the time remaining on your membership. You will be prompted to enter your card information when you join Mighty, but it won’t be charged until the end of your free trial period. You will be notified when your Free Trial is about to end, and you can cancel anytime. If you did not get an email with a link, please get in touch at support@thedrs.org.
When you sign up, you will also be prompted to select a checkbox to opt-in to emails. To receive email communications from the DRS, you must opt-in and ensure that you check your inbox/spam to double opt-in and confirm your subscription. If you do not opt in, you will not receive email updates from the DRS. The DRS does not share your information with any third parties.

Why is the DRS moving to Mighty?
The DRS is a dynamic, member-driven Society that advances cutting-edge thinking and research in design. We want to ensure that our members have the infrastructure to collaborate. Mighty offers the fuctionality required to better meet our community's needs, particularly for members managing groups and conferences at the DRS.
It is a space-in-progress, and we look forward to growing and developing new DRS communities on the platform over the coming months.
What does this mean for my DRS Membership?
The link you recieved allows you to join the DRS on Mighty with a ‘Migration’ plan. These plans have been created to align with the time left on your current DRS membership. These plans begin with a free trial period that is determined by the amount of time left on our current DRS membership. If you have…
- 9 months to 1 year remaining, you will have a Migration plan with a 1-year free trial.
- 6 months to 9 months remaining, you will have a Migration plan with a 9-month free trial.
- 3 to 6 months remaining, you will have a Migration plan with a 6-month free trial.
- 1 to 3 months remaining, you will have a Migration plan with a 3-month free trial.
