There are three levels of membership for the Design Research Society:
Membership of the DRS costs £30 per annum
Membership of the DRS is open to anyone with an interest in design research.
Student membership costs £30 for a 3 year period
Student membership is dependent on eligibility. Students must be currently pursuing a full-time post-graduate qualification in a design-related discipline and outside full-time employment. An application form should be sent to

DRS Fellowship costs £60 per annum
Ordinary members successfully applying to become DRS Fellows are charged £60 per annum (i.e. an additional £25 on the ordinary membership costs).

1. Create an Account
You first need to create an account by registering with the website. We recommend you use your email address as your username as it is usually easiest to remember!
When you create an account you will be sent a confirmation email. Click on the link in the email to confirm your registration and activate your account.
2. Purchase a Membership
Log in using your account details and purchase a membership subscription using PayPal or your credit card.
3. Renewal
Your membership will be renewed and charged automatically each year on the anniversary of the date that you first joined the society.
Current Members of the DRS who have previously subscribed using WorldPay will continue using WorldPay.
Terms and Conditions
By applying for membership you agree that the Design Research Society may use your personal data for the purposes of running and administering the Society; maintaining and updating the Society's membership list; and contacting you in relation to the Society's activities. DRS does not make Members' data including email addresses available for external commercial or any other purposes.
