A New Discussion Platform for Design Research
Design Research Failures is a permanent platform for addressing failure in design research, asking in what way design research has failed, in order to anticipate and co-create the future of the design discipline.
The site invites visitors to submit their own answer to the central question (“In what way has Design Research failed in the last 50 years?”) as well as comment on all the existing contributions.
As with the exhibition at Design Research Society 2016 conference, the hope is that the site will very much be alive, with new contributions and comments continuously being added. The commenting is deliberately left open, in the sense that visitors can debate the stated failures as well as put forward solutions if they wish.
